Dean and Shelton Classic Vehicle Display

 

Begun in 2008 the Dean and Shelton Classic Vehicle Display has now reached its 15th year starting with local village cars and tractors the odd motorcycle and even a Routemaster Bus, the display now reaches nearly 100 vehicles of all types and ages.

 

If we have a completed application form returned to us and have your address we will post you a new form to remind you. However, you can just turn up but be sure that you are in position by midday, the tea tent, hog roast, Bells and  Whistles bar and Ice cream van will also be on station should you need sustenance.

You can apply for a space to display your vehicle by completing an application form, you can download the form below or receive these by post or by email.  To apply for an application form please let us have your address by completing our online contact form.

About the Dean and Shelton Classic Vehicle Display

 

Begun in 2008 the Dean and Shelton Classic Vehicle Display has now reached its 10th year starting with local village cars and tractors the

 

In 2008 the decision was made to add a vehicle display 

to the field exhibits at the Dean and Shelton Flower Show in an attempt to create more interest at the show, there were probably no more than ten vehicles entered into the first display from residents in our 3 villages.

 

Each year classic and veteran vehicles are displayed at the Dean and Shelton Country Show, their numbers have grown steadily and entries now range from, Tractors, Motorcycles, Steam Engines, Military vehicles, buses, fire engines, commercial vehicles.

 

The Odd Wheel Club of St Neots now supports the display with their diverse range of exhibits.

The Odd Wheel Club of St Neots

 

The Odd Wheel Club is based around a group of enthusiasts that collect different types of wheeled transport and bygones. They meet regularly and display their tractors etc at many local Shows including Bolnhurst and Haddenham. Every October they also meet in a field in  Hail Weston holding a ploughing match in aid of charity. However, since 2014 the Odd Wheel Club have supported the Dean and Shelton Country Show which an ever-increasing range of tractors, cars and stationary engines. We thank the Odd Wheel Club for their continued support.
